I was shown one of these during Ashura and really enjoyed it. There are a couple of these poem/songs by a group called Light of Guidance. They seem to be referred to as Naseeds.
I stand corrected. Sad ones like this are called Laymiyat.
I wish I knew more about them but I thought I would share the one on Ashura:

These ones (the sad ones) are called laymiyat and generally the happier ones are called Nasheeds I thiiiink.
