*Looks at credit card bill* I am so glad Eid ul Fitr does not require gift buying like Christmas. If I had to do two holidays like Christmas I would be in the poor house.
Yeah, seriously, it's so expensive! The solution I found for myself is to do a gift exchange with my family for Christmas (like 20$ or something) and to only buy a gift for my daughter. They agreed to not buy gifts too so we don't have as much excitement or surprises but we also don't have so many bills.
We are so trying to get my extended family back on a gift exchange track. Seriously my Christmas bill ended up so high this year I had to go into my savings to pay it...of course it would have helped if I had not decided to shop at Shukr for myself LOL
No kidding! Between my son's birthday last month, and Christmas this month, I feel like I'm on a spending spree. :/

ReplyDeleteAll I know is I am not doing this next year. I will buy really good gifts for my imediate family but my extended family will have to deal.
