Went out in hijab/Break

I finally went out in public in hijab and it went very well. I learned 2 things.

I am super comfortable in it.

Men really do move out of your way. I wasn't bumped into once. Not even on the train! I am LOVING that.

I hope to do it again soon.

On another note I'm taking a break. Not from blogging completely, but from the heavy intellectual stuff. I am fried right now and rather stretched to my limits. My last religious post was my breaking point. I am confused, frustrated, and feel more stuck in religion purgatory now than I ever have. My feelings are mixed up, my beliefs are jumbled. My brain needs a break and I am going to give it just that.

I do have to say one thing: I have some very intelligent, thoughtful women who read my blog. Women who can give an opinion without chastising. Constructive opinions, brilliant.
